Hello Romain, can you introduce yourself in a few words ?

Hello, I'm Romain, the co-founder of Humble+, a French food brand created in 2019. Personally, I take care of the financial, logistical and administrative management to ensure Humble's growth and make sure we have enough cash to finance our productions.

What does Humble+ do?

Humble is the reference brand in well-being. Our products are formulated with collagen, without preservatives, sugar or sweeteners. All our productions are based in France and aim to help our customers live a more active and pain-free life while enjoying a good recovery. This type of production imposes on us a very strict schedule of conditions which, mechanically, is expensive to produce. 

In what context did Humble+ need funding? 

The food market imposes high production minimums on us. Moreover, when we care about the quality of our productions, it is even more expensive. Beyond this financial problem, our productions are more quickly produced than sold. For all these reasons, we had recourse to the help of Karmen which allowed us to finance a production cycle. This assistance has, by extension, allowed us to free up a little more cash while relieving our WCR. 

What are your selection criteria for your support service?

For us, we needed to find a simple, fast and above all non-dilutive financing solution. Humble+ is growing fast and we didn't want to lose the benefits of our company because of a small cash flow gap between our production and sales cycle. Karmen met all of these criteria, so we decided to go with their famous RBF. 

How did you discover Karmen? 

I am quite active on LinkedIn and, because of this attractiveness, I was contacted by Karmen's sales department who, at first sight, already understood the problem Humble was facing, by proposing me a suitable financing solution.  

How was the onboarding process for your application?

It's super simple. I directly connected my banking, billing and accounting systems to the platform. In less than 15 minutes, the sales team had access to all my information. 

How did the financing work out?

Always so simple. The credit team took three days to analyze my file based on information provided up front. I was then able to get my disbursement in less than a week, which is absolutely remarkable.

How do you see the continuation of our collaboration? 

We just financed our first production, which is a great step forward for Humble+. In the future, the idea would be to approach Karmen for our larger production runs. As we scale up and our productions get bigger, so do the costs. So we would be happy to call on Karmen for new funding soon! 

What would you say to a start-up looking for funding? 

If you're confident in your business and need cash but don't want to dilute your cash flow: use Karmen to finance your WCR or cash flow gap. This is a great opportunity for you. It's fast, simple and effective.
