Pepin is a French brand founded in 2021 and based in Lille, which aims to democratize plant care by making it accessible, fun and aesthetically pleasing. Their products are designed to embellish the plant care experience, while embracing natural, eco-friendly formulas.

Like their flagship product, the ceramic olla, an ingenious, eco-friendly irrigation system that optimally hydrates plants while reducing water wastage.

The company was founded and is run by Martin Waeghemacker, with the aim of transforming plant care into a simple, user-friendly and enjoyable experience.

"We generate x% of our sales during the key November-December period, with events such as Black Friday and Christmas. To meet this high demand, we have to anticipate and settle large supplier orders, often x days in advance. This is well in advance of our year-end sales.

What's more, most of our business customers pay y days after delivery, creating a constant time lag between necessary cash outflows and cash inflows. This imbalance puts a strain on our cash flow during peak periods, and slows down our strategic investments.
