Karmen is also involved in more complex issues, such as their rebranding or the migration of their eCommerce tool. The rebranding and migration have been a success for the company. These actions increased organic traffic and improved the conversion rate, contributing to higher sales.
As mentioned above, My Ony has been using Karmen regularly since April 2023 to manage their peak demand, particularly during Black Friday, Valentine's Day and in anticipation of Chinese New Year. Karmen enables them to meet their working capital requirements (WCR), caused by the payment conditions imposed by their suppliers. In addition, shipping products by sea increases DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding), which in turn increases WCR and weighs on cash flow.
Thanks to Karmen, My Ony has been able to benefit from regular, overlapping tranches of financing, with growth exposure ranging from €40,000 to €75,000. This enables us to respond effectively to cash flow needs.
Today, My Ony uses its equity to finance research and development (R&D), focused on medium-term return on investment (ROI), while Karmen financing is used for investments with rapid ROI (marketing) and working capital management (cash flow, inventory).
